Russian military death toll in Ukraine up to 40,670
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy’s total combat losses from Feb 24 to Jul 30 amounted to approximately 40,670 (+170)," the statement says.
Also, the Armed Forces destroyed 1,759 (+10) tanks, 3,995 (+8) armored combat vehicles, 906 (+6) artillery systems, 258 (+0) anti-aircraft missiles, 117 (+0) air defense systems, 222 (+0) warplanes, 190 (+0) helicopters, 733 (+2) operational and tactical level UAVs, 174 (+0) cruise missiles, 15 (+0) warships/cutters, 2,889 (+19) trucks and tankers, and 78 (+1) units of specialized equipment.
Over the past day, the enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the General Staff, there are no signs of offensive groups being formed at the Belarus-Ukraine border.
