Ukraine’s Armed Forces repulse Russian assaults in three directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its evening report published on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“The combat composition, size, and nature of the actions of the enemy group remain almost unchanged. The Russian occupiers do not stop launching air and missile strikes on military and civilian objects in the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff said.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched artillery fire in the areas of Dolyna, Krasnopillia, and Mazanivka. The enemy attempted to conduct assault operations near Brazhkivka, but failed and retreated.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on destroying military facilities and infrastructure components, trying to create conditions for assaults in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivske directions in order to improve the tactical position.

The enemy systematically shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line to constrain actions and prevent the movement of reserves to other directions.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy launched artillery fire in the districts of Kramatorsk, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, and Pereizne. An airstrike was launched near Ivano-Daryivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired at Ukrainian troops using all available firepower along the contact line in the areas of Berestove, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Kodema, Travneve, Zaitseve and New York settlements. Airstrikes were launched near Yakovlivka and Zaitseve. The enemy attempted assault operations in the directions Pylypchatyne-Pokrovske and Dolomitne - Travneve, but failed and retreated.

The Russian forces attempted assault operations to establish control over the settlement of Semyhirya from three directions. With partially success, the enemy is reinforcing positions on the outskirts of the settlement.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy fired at the Ukrainian positions using tanks, barrel artillery, and multiple rocket launchers along the contact line and in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Yasnobrodivka, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, and Krasnohorivka settlements. An airstrike was launched near Avdiivka.

In order to improve the tactical position, the enemy conducted assault operations in the directions of Novoselivka Druha-Krasnohorivka, Spartak-Avdiivka, but failed and retreated. The invaders also conducted aerial reconnaissance of Ukrainian positions using UAVs.

In the direction of Novopavlivske, shelling near Novosilka, Maryinka, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka and an airstrike near Maryinka were recorded. The enemy carried out assault operations in the direction of Yehorivka-Pavlivka, but had no success and retreated.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, but shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops with barrel artillery, MLRS and tank weapons in the areas near Zaliznychne, Novomykhailivka, Bilohiryia, Novoandriivka settlements. The invaders conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance, shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops with barrel and jet artillery in the areas near the settlements of Trudoliubivka, Potiomkyne, Kamyiane, Karyerne, Novohryhorivka, Velyke Artakove, Lozove, Kobzartsi, Shyroke, Kiselivka, Zoria, Posad-Pokrovske, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriyske, Mykolaiv and Solonchaky.
