Russian offensive ongoing toward Bakhmut, Avdiyivka
This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the Belarus armed forces keep strengthening the section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in Brest and Gomel regions. A combat readiness check-up was held for parts of their special operations forces.
In the Siverskyi direction, enemy barrel and jet artillery shelled the civilian infrastructure in the areas of Zaliznyi Myst, Hai, Hremiach, and Mikhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv region, and Starykovo – in Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage, using artillery of various types, in the areas of Kharkiv, Borschova, Korobochkine, Velyki Prokhody, Ruski Tyshki, Stariy Saltiv, Pryshyb, Tsyrkuny, Mospanove, and Bezruky.
In the Sloviansk direction, shelling was recorded near Bohorodichne, Mazanivka, Husarivka, Adamivka, Kurulka, Khrestysh, Sulyhivka, Dovhenke, and Velyka Komyshuvakha.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian barrel and jet artillery, as well as tanks, shelled the areas of Siversk, Mykolaivka, Starodubivka, Spirne, Kryva Luka, Verkhnyokamianske, Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, Raihorodok, and Kaleniki. Firefights were reported in the area.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy shelled military and civilian infrastructure near Yakovlivka, Kodema, Pokrovske, Rozdolivka, Vershyna, Bakhmut, and Soledar. Offensive and assault efforts were undertaken with the aim of improving their tactical position – with no success.
In the Avdiyivka direction, the enemy fired artillery and tanks near Pisky, Prechistivka, Shevchenko, Volodymyrivka, Novobakhmutivka, Nevelske, Netaylove, and Krasnohorivka. Also, the Russians launched offensive action; firefights continue.
No active actions of the occupiers were recorded in the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia areas. The enemy carried out systematic shelling of civilian and military infrastructure near Constantinople, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Vremivka, Maryinka, Hulyaipole, Hulyaipilske, Mals Shcherbaky, Temyrivka, and Bilohirya.
In the South Buh direction, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. Russian UAV reconnaissance efforts are highly intense.
Shelling was recorded in the areas of Mykolaiv, Luch, Lymany, Nova Zorya, Novomykolaivka, Kobzartsi, Lyubomirivka, Kiselyvka, Andriivka, Lozove, Bilohirka, Osokorivka, Potemkyne, and Zeleny Hai.
The occupiers launched a missile attack on an infrastructural site in Mykolaivka, Odesa region.
