Ukrainian marines destroy enemy APC, 19 invaders in Kherson, Donetsk directions

Service members with the Command of the Naval Infantry Corps of the Ukrainian Navy held back a Russian offensive on a fortified section of the front line in the Kherson direction and thwarted the enemy's plans.

The press service of the Command of the Naval Infantry Corps of the Ukrainian Navy said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Despite non-stop shelling from heavy artillery, the personnel of the military units of the Command of the Naval Infantry Corps Command of the Ukrainian Navy are reliably holding the defense in the designated positions as part of the groups. On the Kherson axis, the marines are steadfastly and courageously resisting the Russian invaders. In the past day, our soldiers managed to hold back the enemy's offensive on a fortified section of the front line and thereby disrupt the enemy's plans," the report reads.

In addition, on the Donetsk axis, Ukrainian marines destroyed 12 Russian invaders during battles.

Artillery units of the Command of the Naval Infantry Corps of the Ukrainian Navy struck concentrations of military personnel and equipment of the occupiers. The enemy lost an armored personnel carrier and seven soldiers.
