Kyrylenko: Ukraine’s Armed Forces control Pisky village in Donetsk region
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, stated this on Ukrainian TV channels, Ukrinform reports.
"The village of Pisky is controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, respectively - by the Ukrainian authorities. We have heard many fake reports, even during the full-scale war, which are directly aimed either at the occupied territories or at the zombified population of the Russian Federation, that Sloviansk is allegedly under their control, and that they are approaching Kramatorsk, and so on. However, I know exactly what I am talking about. Yes, the situation is very hot in the settlement, but the professional command has taken additional measures to prevent the enemy's plans from being implemented," the regional governor said.
Kyrylenko explained that by gaining the control of Pisky, the enemy aims to reach not just Avdiivka, but it aims to bypass it in order to conduct further offensive operations. However, these intentions are known and additional measures are being taken to prevent Russian forces from implementing them, Kyrylenko stressed.
As reported, Russian troops are constantly shelling Donetsk region, killing and injuring citizens, destroying the civilian infrastructure of populated areas of the region. There has been no gas supply in the region for a long time, and water supply in many settlements. Enemy forces are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense in several directions, but all their attempts are unsuccessful and they returns to its previous positions.
