Russian army deploying additional forces and air defense systems in Belarus

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning report published on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy used artillery to shell the areas of Hai and Hremiach settlements in Chernihiv region and Novi Vyrky in Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery along the entire line of contact. Russian troops launched airstrikes from helicopters near Verkhniy Saltiv and Pryshyb.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage, using artillery of various types, near Velyka Komyshuvaha, Druzhkivka, Virnopillia, Sulyhivka, Karnaukhivka, Ridne, Dibrivne, Hrushuvaha, Bohorodychne, Nortsivka and Zalyman.

The enemy deployed electronic warfare systems to suppress the conduct of air reconnaissance.

Russian forces also conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bohorodychne and Dolyna.

In the Kramatorsk direction, shelling from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of Kramatorsk, Karpivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Pereizne, Hryhorivka, Donetske, Raihorodok, Zvanivka and Ivano-Daryivka.

An enemy attack aircraft launched an airstrike near Spirne. Russian forces attempted to carry out an offensive operation in the area of Verkhniokamianske, but failed and retreated.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled areas near Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Shumy, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Ivanivka, Vesela Dolyna and Bakhmutske. Airstrikes near Zaitseve and Bakhmut were recorded.

The enemy conducted assault operations in the directions of Volodymyrivka–Yakovlivka, Pokrovske–Bakhmut, Vidrodzhennia – Vershyna, Novoluhanske–Zaitseve. Ukrainian defenders pushed the invaders back.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive activities in the directions of Novoluhanske-Kodema, Travneve-Kodema, Semihirya-Zaitseve, battles continue.

In the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers shelled the areas of Avdiivka, Pavlivka, Pisky, Shevchenko, Netailove, Nevelske, Oleksandropil and New York with barrel, rocket artillery and tanks. Airstrikes were recorded near Mykilske, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Volodymyrivka and Maryinka.

The enemy attempted assaults in the directions of Novobakhmutivka-Krasnohorivka, Spartak-Avdiivka, Vesele-Pisky, had no success, and retreated.

In the Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy used barrel and rocket artillery to shell the areas near Poltavka, Stepove, Trudove, Novomykhailivka, Bilohirya, Novoandriivka, Novopil, Volodymyrivka, Novosilka, Mala Tokmachka, Vremivka, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Stepnohirsk, Temyrivka, Charivne settlements. Enemy aircraft were recorded near Vesele, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Novosilka.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy used tanks and artillery to conduct shelling along the contact line and in the depth of the defense, trying to hold the occupied positions. Enemy airstrikes near Andriivka, Bilohirka, and Velike Artakove. Reconnaissance flights by Russian UAVs were recorded.
