Thirteen Russia ships are on alert in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov, and the Mediterranean Sea.

"As of August 7, 2022, four enemy carriers of Kalibr operational-tactical missiles are on alert in the Black Sea, totaling 24 missiles, five Kalibr carriers are in the Mediterranean Sea, up to four ships and boats control maritime communications in the Sea of ​​Azov," the press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

Over the past day, in the interests of Russia, 35 ships passed through the Kerch–Yenikale Canal to the Black Sea with eight ships continuing their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait; 41 ships passed through the Kerch–Yenikale Canal to the Sea of ​​Azov with seven ships moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

The Naval Forces underscore that Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification system (AIS) on civilian vessels in the Sea of ​​Azov.

As reported, the marine units and artillery units of the Ukrainian Naval Forces eliminated 30 Russian soldiers, a command post, TOR missile system, two tanks, two artillery systems, ammunition depot, and other weapons over the past day.
