In the north of Kharkiv region, a Russian ammunition depot was destroyed as a result of a successful aerial reconnaissance effort followed by a massive strike.

This was reported by the press service of the National Guard’s Eastern Operational Territorial Unit, according to Ukrinform.

"Aerial reconnaissance and artillery of the National Guard and the Armed Forces, with the support of tanks, sent Russian special forces and an ammunition depot to hell in the north of Kharkiv region," the report says.

It is noted that scouts discovered the enemy base and spotted the unloading of artillery munitions.

"The National Guards passed the coordinates of the target to our gunners, after which they spotted the fire. The UAV camera recorded the incredible results of the ‘good will’ step by uninvited guests from fascist Russia,” the report said, mocking previous reports by Russian forces who claimed they pulled from Snake Island in an act of “good will” despite the obvious act that they were forced to retreat as a result of constant fire control of the area by Ukrainian troops.

Artillery munitions were “demilitarized,” the report noted, adding that the storage site will be “definitely rebuilt after the Kremlin hordes are defeated in Ukraine."

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of August 8, the Russian military death toll in Ukraine amounted to 42,340.
