Kharkiv residents urged to remain in shelters as Russians start yet another shelling

Russian troops are launching strikes at an eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv so local authorities have urged local residents to remain in shelters.
That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"Residents of Kharkiv and the region, do everything to stay in shelters! The Russian occupiers are striking at Kharkiv. Do not leave shelter," the statement reads.
On social networks, citizens say they heard the sound of a powerful explosion that rang out around 10:10 on the northern outskirts of Kharkiv, and saw a column of smoke. After that, more explosions rocked the city.
Currently, an air-raid alert is active in the city and region.
As reported, two civilians were killed and three more were injured in Kharkiv region as a result of the latest Russian attacks.
