Ukraine forces repulse several Russian assaults in Donbas, eliminate scout unit

The invaders went for assault attempts near Spirne and Ivano-Daryivka, which resulted in Russian losses and their eventual retreat. Also, Ukrainian troops inflicted fire damage on and neutralized an enemy reconnaissance group in the direction of Soledar.

That’s according to a war update, delivered by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The situation has not undergone significant changes in the Volyn and Polissky directions.

There are up to four battalion tactical groups of the enemy forces in the Siversky direction. The rotation of the specified units is ongoing.

The enemy shelled the areas of Senkivka in Chernihiv region and Starykovo, Atynskyi, and Zhuravka in Sumy region, employing barrel artillery.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continues shelling with tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of Uda, Borshchiv, Zolochiv, Bezruky, Novye, Rtyshchivka, Ruska Lozova, Cherkasky Tyshki, Petrivka, Stary Saltiv, Mospanove, Korobochkine, Pryshyb, Bayrak, and Chepil.

Enemy airstrikes hit the areas near Peremoha, Pytomnyk and Verkhniy Saltov.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Russians fired barrel and jet artillery near Hrushuvaha, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Dibrivne, Kurulka, Protopopivka, and Nortsivka.

Ukrainian soldiers repulsed the assault in the direction of Dolyna.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy used tanks and MLR systems to shell the Verkhnokamyanka Serebryanka, Spirne, Ivano-Daryivka, Rozdolivka, and Pereizne districts.

The Russians made an attempt to conduct reconnaissance of Ukrainian positions in the Serebryanka area, where they were confronted with Ukrainian fire and forced to retreat. With the same result, an attempt at reconnaissance in force ended in the direction of Vesele.

The enemy risked assaults near Spirne and Ivano-Daryivka, which resulted in Russian losses and their eventual retreat.

In the Bakhmut area, shelling was recorded near Kostyantynivka, Bakhmut, Soledar, Shumy, Yakovlivka, Kodema, and Vershyna. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Soledar, Yakovlivka, and Kodema.

Ukrainian soldiers inflicted fire damage on and neutralized an enemy reconnaissance group in the direction of Soledar.

The occupiers waged offensive battles in the directions of Yakovlivka, Soledar, Vershyna, Kodema, and Zaytseve, ultimately suffering losses and retreating. At the same time, enemy units had partial success in the direction of Bakhmut.

In the Avdiyivka direction, the enemy shelled the districts of Avdiyivka, Nevelske, Pisky, Vodiane, Karlivka, and New York with artillery of various calibers. In addition, the Russians carried out an air strike near Krasnohorivka.

The enemy made assault attempts in the direction of Krasnohorivka and Piskiy, with no success, being forced to retreat.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia directions, the occupiers fired tanks and artillery near Kostyantynivka, Orikhove, and Pavlivka, as well as ten other settlements. Airstrikes were carried out near Novosilka, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbaky. The enemy continues conducting aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

The occupiers waged unsuccessful offensive battles in the direction of Pavlivka and Vremivka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Posad-Pokrovske, Oleksandrivka, Olenivka, Myrne, Shyroke, Polyana, Pavlo-Maryanivka, Chervona Dolyna, Kiselyvka, Ternivka, Velyke Artakove, Bila Krynytsia, and Ivanivka, Potemkine and Trudolyubivka, employing tanks, barrel artillery, and multiple rocket launchers. They also carried out air strikes near Bilohirka and Velke Artakovo, and conducted aerial reconnaissance using drones.

Two Kalibr sea-based cruise missile carriers remain in combat readiness in the Black Sea.
