Over 100 Wagner mercenaries could have been eliminated in Popasna – Haidai

However, the Wagner Group’s owner, ‘Putin’s chef’ Yevgeny Prigozhin, most likely, survived.

The relevant statement was made by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security on Facebook, referring to Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I cannot disclose the details of this operation yet but, if it turns out that over 100 Wagner mercenaries from the leadership team have been killed, – well, it will be nothing new to us. Unfortunately, regarding ‘Putin’s chef’, most likely, we will not have such great news. But, his deputies – yes,” Haidai told.

A reminder that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed the Wagner Group’s headquarters in Popasna, Luhansk Region.
