Enemy attempting to improve logistics in Sloviansk direction
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its latest report posted on Facebook.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has undergone no significant changes but a threat of the enemy launching missile and air strikes from the territory of this country remains.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy continues to hold units in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions in order to constrain the actions of Ukrainian defense forces. The enemy fired artillery at the districts of Kamianska Sloboda of Chernihiv region and Khodyne of Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians used barrel and jet artillery near Kostiantynivka, Rtyshchyvka, Sosnivka, Pytomnyk, and Ruski Tyshky.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage near Hrushuvaha and Virnopillia. Enemy units are taking measures to improve logistical support in the indicated direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy continued shelling from artillery of various types near Kramatorsk, Spirne, and Ivano-Daryivka. It conducts an offensive in the direction of the Lysychansk oil refinery - Ivano-Daryivka, hostilities continue.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy struck the areas of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Shumy, Bilohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve, using tanks, barrel and jet artillery. Enemy units carried out offensive and assault operations in the direction of Volodymyrivka-Bakhmutske and Striapivka-Soledar. Here the Ukrainian soldiers stopped and pushed the invaders back. Battles continue in the Pokrovske–Bakhmutske and Horlivka–Zalizne directions.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Russians shelled Krasnohorivka, Spartak, and Nevelske districts, using barrel artillery. They are advancing in the direction of Staromykhailivka-Nevelske, hostilities continue.
In the Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy used tanks, barrel and rocket artillery to shell the areas of Novosilka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Novomykhailivka, Novopil, Pavlivka, Novoandriivka, Privilne and Vremivka settlements.
The invaders are conducting offensive and assault operations in the direction of Solodke-Novomykhailivka. They had partial success. The hostilities are ongoing.
In the South Buh direction, the enemy, in addition to tanks and artillery along the line of contact, used army and assault aircraft in the vicinity of Bila Krynytsia, Andriivka and Lozove.
The enemy attempted to improve the tactical position in the direction of Zelenyi Hai-Novohryhorivka through assault operations but had no success and retreated with significant losses.
