Commander-in-Chief concerned about missile systems at Belarusian airfield Zyabrovka

Ukrinform
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi expressed concern about the location of missile systems at the Belarusian airfield Zyabrovka near the Ukrainian border.

Zaluzhnyi said this in a phone conversation with General Wayne Donald Eyre, Chief of the Defence Staff of Canada, Ukrinform reports, referring Zaluzhnyi's Telegram channel.

“I have informed my counterpart about the situation on the front line. It is intense but fully controlled. The location of missile systems along the state border shared with the Republic of Belarus, in particular at the Zyabrovka airfield, raises concerns,” the report says.

As reported, on August 16, the enemy lifted aircraft into the sky from the territory of Belarus and, attempting to disguise the aviation activity as training flights, launched a missile strike on the military airfield in Zhytomyr region with two X-59 guided missiles, apparently from Su-34 fighter-bombers. No casualties among the personnel were reported.
