Enemy continues to shell border areas of Sumy, Chernihiv regions from Russian territory

Russian troops continue shelling the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said this in a statement.
On August 18, enemy forces used mortars, MLRS and howitzers, the report said.
The Krasnopillia, Myropillia and Bilopillia communities in the Sumy region and the Semenivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi communities in the Chernihiv region all came under enemy fire.
