At least 2 injured as Russians strike Kharkiv region at night
"At around midnight, a missile was launched from the town of Belgorod [in Russia]. In the village of Rohan, Kharkiv district, a missile hit an unfinished private house, a fire broke out. Two people – a 36-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman – were injured," Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
Also, according to Synehubov, two missiles hit the village of Dokuchayevske, Kharkiv district. The premises of an educational institution were damaged. A fire broke out in an open area. No casualties were reported.
The active hostilities continue on the contact line. The enemy shells the Ukrainian positions from tanks and artillery, uses aviation. In Izium area, the enemy tried to conduct combat reconnaissance in the direction of Pasika – Bohorodychne but failed.
The occupiers tried to go on an offensive in the directions of Brazhkivka – Nova Dmytrivka and Sulyhivka – Nova Dmytrivka but retreated with significant losses under the Ukrainian troops’ fire.
