Sloviansk comes under enemy fire, detached house destroyed

On the night of August 23, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk Region, having destroyed a detached house.
The relevant statement was made by Sloviansk City Military Civil Administration Head Vadym Liakh on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today we have a holiday, Day of the National Flag. Sadly, as expected, the city came under enemy fire last night. It was especially loud near Tsilynna Street. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. But, a detached house was destroyed completely,” Liakh told.

Nevertheless, Liakh emphasized that the fight for Ukraine’s flag and independence continues, and Ukraine will win.
A reminder that, on August 22, 2022, one civilian was killed and seven injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region.
