Armed Forces of Ukraine repulse enemy offensives, assault in Donetsk region

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, August 25, published on Facebook.

The situation remained unchanged in Volyn, Polissya, and Siversky directions.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy opened fire from tanks, combat vehicles, tube and rocket artillery along the contact line.

In Slovyansk direction, the areas of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Nova Dmytrivka, and Brazhkivka came under tube and rocket artillery fire. The enemy assaulted Pasika–Dolyna direction, had no success, retreated.

In Kramatorsk direction, shelling from tanks, tube artillery, and MLRS was recorded near Spirne, Ivano-Daryivka, Zvanivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy attacked the areas of Bakhmut, Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk, Shumy, Zaitseve, Bilohorivka, Kodema, and Yakovlivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Soledar and Zaitseve and made futile attempts to go on an offensive towards Travneve–Kodema.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy struck the areas of Pokrovsk, Netaylove, Pervomaiske, Orlivka, Vodiane, Novobakhmutivka, Shumy, and New York. Enemy aircraft operated near Marinka, Krasnohorivka, and Nevelske. The enemy tried to launch an offensive in the direction of Pisky–Pervomaiske, but had no success and retreated.

In Novopavlivka direction, the enemy opened fire from tanks and artillery of various types near Pavlivka, Yelyzavetivka, Kostiantynivka, Vuhledar, Volodymyrivka, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, and Velyka Novosilka. The enemy also launched airstrikes near Volodymyrivka, Vuhledar, and Pavlivka.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy fired on the Ukrainian positions in the areas of Komyshuvakha, Huliaypilske, Chervone, Charivne, Vremivka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Novosilka, Burlatske, Vilne Pole, Shevchenko, and Novodanylivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Orikhiv, Huliaypilske, and Shcherbaky.

In Southern Buh direction, the occupiers fired on the Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure from tanks, tube and rocket artillery along the contact line. An airstrike was launched near Bila Krynytsia.

The enemy's naval group continues to block civilian shipping and destroy objects deep in the territory of Ukraine.
