Eight civilians killed in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region

Eight civilians have been killed and seven injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On August 28, 2022, Russians killed eight civilians in Donetsk Region: four in Bakhmut, two in Raihorodok, one in Tetianivka and one in Mykolaivka. Seven more people were injured,” the report states.

At the moment, it is impossible to calculate the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko added.
