Ten people injured in enemy shelling of Enerhodar residential quarters
Enerhodar Mayor Dmytro Orlov said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"As of this morning, it is known about 10 Enerhodar residents who received numerous shrapnel wounds of varying degrees of severity as a result of shelling of Enerhodar residential quarters last night. Two of them in serious condition were hospitalized in the intensive care unit," Orlov wrote.
According to him, at least 20 vehicles parked near the houses on Internationalist Warriors street were destroyed and damaged.
"Obviously, this is how the Russians ‘worked out’ their scenario on the eve of IAEA mission's visit to the Zaporizhzhia NPP. A direct threat to the lives of civilian population does not stop the terrorists," he added.
As reported, a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is expected to visit the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant this week. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi wrote on Twitter that the delegation is “on its way” to the nuclear power plant.
