Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on Sweden to provide Ukraine with Archer artillery systems, RBS-70 air-defense systems, and more artillery shells.

"The best thing Sweden can do in the field of defense in the coming weeks is to provide Ukraine with its famous Archer artillery systems, RBS-70 air-defense systems, and more shells for our artillery systems," Kuleba said at a joint briefing with Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Andersson and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde in Stockholm, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Because, as strange as it may sound, the best way to save human lives, including the lives of civilians, and to save more Ukrainian villages and towns from destruction, is to give Ukraine more weapons so that we can repel Russian aggression and the Russian army," Ukraine’s top diplomat emphasized.

Kuleba also thanked Sweden for allocating a new aid package to Ukraine, half of which is aimed at defense purposes.

As reported, Sweden announced on Monday the allocation of SEK 500 million (USD 46.75 million) in security assistance to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.
