The U.S. space technology company, Maxar Technologies, has released the new satellite imagery of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

The relevant imagery was posted by Maxar Technologies on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“New satellite imagery from this morning, August 29, 2022, of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Enerhodar, Ukraine,” the report states.

A reminder that, on the night of March 4, 2022, Russian troops seized Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhia NPP. Since then, Russian invaders have been deploying military equipment and ammunition within the site of the plant and opening fire on the adjacent territory.

In the morning of August 29, 2022, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi noted the agency’s mission was on its way to Zaporizhzhia NPP.
