Armed Forces of Ukraine repulse enemy troops in five directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest operational update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not undergone significant change.  Belarus forces are strengthening the protection of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border section in Brest and Gomel regions.

The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of Belarus remains.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy continues to keep separate units of the Russian armed forces in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The areas near Obody, Novovasylivka and Myropilske of Sumy region came under enemy artillery shelling.

In the Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy conducted combat actions so that to hold previously occupied positions and prevent the offensive of the Ukrainian defense units.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy fired from barrel and jet artillery at the areas Prudianka, Dementiivka, Ruska Lozova, Petrivka, Staryi Saltiv, Pytomnyk, Senkivka and Velyki Prohody. An strike was recorded near Husarivka.

The enemy was conducting an offensive battle in order to improve the tactical position in the area of ​​ Udy, but Ukrainian defenders inflicted fire damage on them, forcing them to retreat.

In the Sloviansk direction, enemy units continued shelling with barrel artillery and MLRS near Velyka Komyshuvaha, Krasnopillia, Dmytrivka, Brazhkivka, Dolyna, and Bohorodychne. The enemy attempted to conduct aerial reconnaissance with UAV in the area of Bohorodychne.  The aircraft was destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

Enemy units attempted an assault in the direction of Shnurky, but failed and withdrew.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers shelled the districts of Zvanivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske and Sloviansk with barrel and jet artillery. Air strikes were recorded near Hryhorivka and Pryshyb.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy used tanks, barrel and rocket artillery to shell areas near Soledar, Dolyna, Zaitseve and Bilohorivka. The enemy launched air strikes on the areas of Soledar and Kodema, as well as a rocket attack on the area close to Kostiantynivka.

The occupiers waged offensive battles in the directions of Zaitseve, Shumy, and Kodema. They were repulsed and then retreated.

In the Avdiivka direction, artillery shelling continues in the areas of Opytne, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novooleksandrivka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka and Tonenke.

The enemy waged offensive battles in the direction of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, had no success and retreated. The occupiers also conducted reconnaissance in the direction of Opytne.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the territories near Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka, Novopil and Zelene Pole came under enemy fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Novodanylivka, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Poltavka, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Novozvanivka, and Dorozhnianka. Air strikes were recorded close to Novodanylivka, Novosilka, Kamianske and Stepove. The enemy also conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAV in the areas of Orikhiv, Huliaipole and Novoandriivka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Oleksandrivka, Stepova Dolyna, Lymany, Blahodatne, Myrne, Kotliareve, Shevchenkove, Novomykolaivka, Pervomaiske, Partyzanske, Shyroke, Chervona Dolyna, Chervonyi Yar, Murakhivka, Lozove, Trudoliubivka, Zelenodolsk, Olhyne, and Dobrianka. An air strike was recorded near Andriivka.

The enemy attempted offensive battles in the direction of Potiomkyne, had no success and withdrew.  It also conducted air reconnaissance with UAV near Davydiv Brid, Snihurivka, and Velyke Artakove.
