Meeting his Czech counterpart, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, noted that “the arrival of dear friend Karel Řehka in Ukraine at this difficult time for our country is evidence of systemic support and solidarity in the war against the russian federation.”

During the visit, the delegation of the Czech Armed Forces was briefed on the security situation in Ukraine, the composition and number of Russian units in both the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian territory along the state border of Ukraine, and the territory of neighboring states, the nature of the enemy's actions and directions of concentration, its losses in personnel and equipment, and exposed of their violation of the rules of warfare and crimes against humanity.
In addition, the assessment of the likely nature of Russia’s future actions, the security situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, development trends in the military-strategic situation in Eastern Europe and the Black Sea-Sea of Azov region were also discussed.
