The Russian Federation damaged and destroyed dozens of universities, hundreds of schools and kindergartens throughout Ukraine with the aim of depriving Ukrainians of knowledge, history and culture, but they failed.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“Dozens of universities, hundreds of schools and kindergartens throughout Ukraine were damaged and destroyed by the occupiers. They sought to deprive us of our past, history, culture and knowledge. But they failed. We continue to live. We develop the country and develop ourselves, learn new things, study and get stronger. And most importantly, we continue to build our Ukrainian future. Free and independent,” he wrote.
The president also published a series of photos showing Ukrainian educational institutions destroyed by Russian troops.
