Russian invaders want to secretly take Rosatom’s personnel out of ZNPP – intelligence

The relevant statement was made by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Preparations are underway at Zaporizhzhia NPP to evacuate Rosatom’s personnel to Melitopol. In order to avoid panic among the staff of the plant, such preparations are made secretly. Evacuation will be carried out in the company of Russia’s National Guard units that moved as a column from Melitopol towards Enerhodar at 07:00 a.m.,” the report states.

According to one of Rosatom’s employees, if the IAEA mission arrives at Zaporizhzhia NPP, some workers will not be allowed into the area of the plant.

The situation at Zaporizhzhia NPP is critical now, as Russian occupiers prevent some staff members, namely those responsible for fire safety, from accessing the plant, the Ukrainian intelligence stressed.
