No international missions allowed to Olenivka following Russian terrorist attack - Podolyak
That’s according to Mykhailo Podolyak, the advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office.
“40 days since the execution of Ukrainian prisoners in Olenivka. Russia did not let UN mission to the murder scene, did not let ICRC representatives to visit the prisoners and did not provide the number of killed. Are there any doubts about who is responsible for bloody terrorist attack?” Podolyak tweeted.
As reported earlier, on the night of July 29, on the territory of the former correctional colony in the village of Olenivka (non-government-controlled), Donetsk region, an explosion destroyed the barrack where the Russian proxies had just moved a group of Ukrainian POWs, the Azovstal defenders. Many of these prisoners are believed to have died or been injured in the blast, which Ukraine called a Russian “terrorist attack.”
According to Ukrainian intelligence, it was the mercenaries with the Wagner Private Military Company who stand behind the extrajudicial execution of Ukrainian POWs in Olenivka.
