Russia fires prohibited cluster munitions at Donetsk region

The enemy used prohibited cluster munitions. The police record the consequences of shelling in Donetsk region.

"Over the past day, the occupation forces launched 18 strikes on houses and infrastructure facilities. The Russian army attacked eight localities: the towns of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kurakhove, Marinka, the villages of Vodiane, Halytsynivka, Karlivka, Lastochkyne," the press service of the National Police posted on Telegram.

As noted, Bakhmut came under fire four times. For the second time, the premises of the State Emergency Service were damaged, and two rescuers were injured. An ambulance, a market, a leisure and culture center, the equipment of State Enterprise "Artemsil", garages were damaged.

The rocket artillery with cluster munitions was fired at Halytsynivka thrice. Five private houses were destroyed, civilians were killed and injured.

Twenty civilian objects, including eight residential buildings, were destroyed and damaged.

The premises of the Kurakhove TPP were also damaged.

Over the past day, 245 more people were evacuated with the help of the police. Since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation, more than 14,600 people, including 2,414 children and 669 people with disabilities, have been evacuated.
