Russians strike Donetsk region communities, killing one person

"At night, the Russians shelled the entire front line from Volnovakha district to Bakhmut district. Vuhledar was hit periodically during the day. In particular, a school was struck. There were no casualties," Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to him, the enemy also massively fired artillery at the old and central parts of Avdiivka town. Strikes were launched on Marinka and Kurakhove communities. No casualties were reported.

In Kramatorsk district, Kostiantynivka came under fire. At least one person was injured. In Bakhmut district, Bakhmut, Soledar, Svitlodarsk, and Toretsk communities came under fire.

As Kyrylenko clarified, one civilian was killed, two houses were damaged in Bakhmut. A car and two houses were damaged in Toretsk community. Villages in Soledar and Svitlodarsk communities also came under fire.
