Russian armed aggression affects over 1,132 children in Ukraine
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of September 13, 2022, over 1,132 children in Ukraine were affected by the Russian armed aggression. According to the data from juvenile inspectors, a total of 383 children were killed and over 749 received injuries of various severity levels,” the report states.
These data are not final, as they are being investigated within the areas of hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated areas.
Currently, most casualties were recorded in the Donetsk region (392), Kharkiv region (209), Kyiv region (116), Mykolaiv region (72), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (61), Kherson region (55), Zaporizhzhia region (46) and Dnipropetrovsk region (26).
A total of 231 children were listed as missing. Meanwhile, a total of 7,552 children deported to Russia were identified.
As a result of Russia’s daily air and artillery strikes, a total of 2,480 educational institutions were damaged across Ukraine, and 289 of them were destroyed completely.
