Enemy suffers significant losses in Slobozhansky direction

There is still a threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders inflict significant damage on the enemy's manpower and equipment.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"The enemy does not stop launching attacks on residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure objects, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war. The infrastructure of more than 20 settlements was damaged by air strikes, missile strikes, and MLRS attacks. These are, in particular, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Bilohirka, Marinka, Olhivske, Oskil, Mykolaiv, Ochakiv, Lyubomyrivka, Huliaypole, and Myrne. Today, the enemy launched five missile strikes, five airstrikes, and 23 MLRS attacks on military and civilian objects in the territory of Ukraine," the report reads.

It is noted that the situation in Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. In other directions, the enemy fired at the infrastructure with tanks, mortars, and artillery. In Siversky direction – in the areas of Halahanivka, Chernihiv region, and Kindrativka, Sumy region; in Kharkiv direction – Vovchansk, Hoptivka, Baranivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Neskuchne, and Sotnytskyi Kozachok; in Slovyansk direction – Kupyansk; in Kramatorsk direction – Tetianivka, Bilohorivka, Siversk, Mykolaivka, Kramatorsk, Ivano-Daryivka, and Verkhniokamyanske; in Bakhmut direction – Sukha Balka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, and Vesela Dolyna.

The enemy did not conduct active operations in Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia directions, opening fire along the contact line.

In Southern Buh direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage along the entire contact line and conducted aerial reconnaissance.

Significant losses of the enemy have been confirmed in Slobozhansky direction. In particular, Russia’s 202nd and 204th rifle regiments of the 2nd army corps were withdrawn hastily to the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region and are being disbanded.

The Ukrainian troops successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk, and Zaitseve.

The General Staff notes that the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation made a decision to replenish the reserve for the war in Ukraine at the expense of penal facilities, state enterprises and institutions, lifting restrictions on conscription for large families and the forced creation of regional battalions formed on a national basis.
