Russia’s Ka-52 helicopter shot down in southern Ukraine

This morning the Ukrainian military have shot down Russia’s Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ attack helicopter in southern Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Around 08:00 a.m., October 7, 2022, the air defense missile unit of the Center Air Force Command of Ukraine’s Air Force shot down a Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ attack helicopter of Russian occupiers in southern Ukraine,” the report states.
A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and October 7, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 61,680 troops.
