Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel five attacks, strike enemy command post

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled five enemy attacks and stuck a command post of the Russian military.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest operational update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Failing to succeed, the enemy launches missile strikes and actively uses attack UAVs to damage critical infrastructure and densely populated cities of Ukraine. The enemy is unable to prevent the successful counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kharkiv and Kherson directions, so the enemy is trying to intimidate and sow panic among the population of Ukraine.

Mobilization and movement of reserves by the enemy also do not provide an opportunity to overcome the resistance of the Ukrainian defenders.

Over the past day, the occupiers launched more than 61 missile attacks and 32 airstrikes, more than 92 MLRS attacks.

The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 73 air targets in various directions, including 46 cruise missiles and 27 UAVs.

As a result of a massive missile attack, the infrastructure of more than 30 settlements was damaged in the past day, including Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Pryluky, Nizhyn, Konotop, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa. Civilians across Ukraine were killed and wounded.

There is still a threat of airstrikes and missile attacks on critical infrastructure and residential areas throughout the territory of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, focusing its efforts on attempts to disrupt the actions of the Ukrainian defense forces in certain directions, and is conducting offensive operations in the certain directions.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy used tanks, mortars and artillery of various types to shell settlements:

in the Siverskyi direction, the invaders shelled areas near Yanzhulivka, Tymonovychy, Mykhalchyna Sloboda of Chernihiv region and Bilopillia and Myrne of Sumy region;

in the Slobozhanske direction - the areas of Ivashky, Strelecha, Hurivka, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Stelmakhivka, Borshchova, Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Huryiv Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Vilkhuvatka and Chuhunivka;

in the Kramatorsk direction – the areas along the entire contact line, including Bilohorivka, Рrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Raihorodok, Pershotravneve, Novoliubivka, Makiivka, Nove, Zarichne, Terny, Serebrianka and Hryhorivka;

In the Bakhmut direction – the areas of Siversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Mayorsk, Kurdiumivka, New York, Krasna Hora, Chasiv Yar, Yakovlivka, Zelenopillia and Odradivka.

In the Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Nevelske, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Vremivka, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Shcherbaky, Novopil, Novomykolaivka, Huliaipilske, Dorozhnianka, Temyrivka and Chervone came under enemy shelling.

In the Southern Bug direction, areas of the settlements of Vyshchetarasivka, Novokyivka, Pravdyne, Myrne, Ternovi Pody, Liubomyrivka, Shyroke, Kyselivka, Chervona Dolyna, Blahodativka, Davydiv Brid and Nova Kamianka came under enemy fire.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy attacks near the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Mayorsk, Soledar and Pervomaiske.
