In the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are pushing the enemy back to positions they constructed earlier.

Nataliia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of Ukraine's southern defense forces, said this on Ukraine's television, Ukrinform reports.

"What is happening on land is the development of the situation under the control of the Defense Forces. We continue to liberate our territories. We continue to push back the enemy, in particular in the Kherson region, where it is already changing its defensive lines to deeper ones, the ones that were constructed earlier. Over the past seven months, they have been trying to dig in there using reinforced concrete structures," Humeniuk said.

She also refuted reports by Russian propaganda that the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region has stopped.

"Our fire control continues, and it has a very significant impact on the enemy's ability to continue their combat operations. This is the destruction of ammunition, this is the destruction of equipment, and the enemy has fewer and fewer chances to bring reserves," Humeniuk said.
