Russia demonstrates no concern for avoiding civilian casualties - Canada’s intelligence

The choice of missile strike targets by Russia proves it has no concern for the lives of civilians.

That’s according to the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command, Ukrinform reports.

“Russia’s targeting process has consistently demonstrated no concern for avoiding civilian casualties and other collateral damage,” the agency wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

“Russia has shown a diminishing ability to hold territory in Ukraine. Its attacks on critical infrastructure are likely intended to degrade Ukrainian public resolve, though they have often had the opposite effect,” the report reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on October 10-11, Russia launched massive missile strikes across the territory of Ukraine involving more than a hundred cruise missiles and drones. As a result of the attack, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged, power supply and mobile communications were interrupted in some areas.
