Ukrainian forces destroy enemy's command and observation post in Kherson region

Ukraine's Operational Command South said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"The rocket and artillery units of the Defense Forces continue to fire at enemy positions, areas of concentration of their forces and means. In particular, artillery strikes were carried out on an area where the enemy's mortar battery and battery of multiple launch rocket systems were deployed in the Mykolaiv district. The destruction of two Msta-B 152mm towed howitzers and a command and observation post of an enemy battalion in the Beryslav district of the Kherson region has been confirmed," the report said.

Other enemy losses inflicted by Ukrainian strikes are being determined.

According to the report, the situation in the Southern Bug area remains difficult, but under control, fighting continues. The enemy continues to defend in the positions they occupied after the retreat and inflicts missile and artillery strikes on the positions of units of Ukraine's defense forces.
