Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi discussed with General Mark Milley, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, the results of yesterday’s meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format

"I had a phone conversation with Chairman of U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley. We discussed the results of yesterday’s meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the ‘Ramstein’ format. I am sincerely grateful to the partner countries for the consistent support of our state and military assistance, thanks to which we are successfully resisting Russian aggression, and to General Milley for his leadership in this extremely important matter," Zaluzhnyi posted on Telegram.

As Ukrinform reported, the sixth meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format took place in Brussels on October 12. The meeting was attended by representatives of 50 countries that agreed to provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems amid the Russian aggression.
