Armed Forces of Ukraine hit three enemy command posts, four air defense positions in south

"The situation in the Southern Buh direction, in our operational zone, is tense but controlled. From time to time, the enemy uses sabotage and reconnaissance groups as attempts to expose our positions. In the afternoon, the enemy's group came to our observation post. As a result of the shooting battle, the enemy suffered losses and retreated," the Operational Command "South" reports.

The enemy aviation twice attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in Davydiv Brid area with a helicopter and an attack aircraft. The Ukrainian units sustained no casualties.

As noted, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched the airstrikes "3.5 times more often and many times more effective." Four enemy's air defense positions in Beryslav and Kakhovka districts, as well as three areas of manpower, weapons, and equipment build-up in Mykolaiv, Bashtanka, and Kherson districts, were hit.

Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed more than 190 fire missions. As a result, two Uragan MLRS, a Grad MLRS, a Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system, an electronic warfare station, two 120mm mortars, three tanks, as well as three command posts of Russian 35th army were destroyed.

In addition, during an attempt to carry out aerial reconnaissance, two Russian Orlan-10 drones were destroyed.

"In the Black Sea, the enemy ship group grew to 15 units which continue to maneuver off the southern coast of Crimea. Three Kalibr missile carriers, one of which is a submarine, are on combat alert. There are up to 20 missiles in total," the Operational Command "South" notes.

As reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 63,800 Russian soldiers from February 24 to October 13.
