Eight Shahed-136 drones destroyed in southern and eastern Ukraine

Today the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already destroyed eight Iranian-manufactured Shahed-136 suicide drones.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On October 14, 2022, in the southern and eastern directions, the anti-aircraft defense units destroyed eight Shahed-136 loitering munitions. Five of them were shot down by the Air Force’s air defense missile units and three – by the anti-aircraft defense units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report states.
A reminder that, on October 13, 2022, five Russian Kalibr-type cruise missiles were destroyed by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
