Ukrainian forces repel enemy attacks in Donetsk region - General Staff

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in its morning update.

According to the report, the aggressors continue to focus their efforts on attempts to reach the administrative border of the Donetsk region and hold captured areas of the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

"The enemy continues to strike critical infrastructure and civilian objects in our country. The infrastructure and civilians of Kharkiv, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Chumaky, Lebedynske, Zaporizhzhia, Davydiv Brid and Myrne were affected in the past day. Iranian attack drones struck the Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Ochakiv. Our defenders managed to shoot down six out of nine of them," the General Staff said.

The enemy continues to use cruise, air and anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack UAVs for their crimes.

Over the past day, the occupiers launched six rocket and 30 air strikes, using multiple launch rocket systems 48 times, the General Staff said.
