Day will come when Ukraine downs 100% of incoming missiles, drones - Zelensky
The leader stated this in an evening video address to the nation, Ukrinform reports.
"We are doing everything to shoot down more enemy missiles and drones and to neutralize more strike positions of the Russian army. The day will surely come when our state is able to fulfill this task by 100%," the president said.
Zelensky added that the Russian Federation continued to attack Ukraine with missiles and Iranian-made kamikaze drones. He noted that some of the incoming missiles and drones were shot down.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of October 15, Russia fired about 10 S-300 missiles at Zaporizhia. Also, in Kyiv region, the aggressors attacked one of the communities.
In Chernihiv region, Russian troops shelled the Novhorod-Siverskyi district three times this day employing mortars and UAV-deployed munitions. On the morning of October 15, the Bilopollia community was shelled in Sumy region.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians pounded the Nikopol district throughout the night using Grad and Uragan MLR systems and heavy artillery.
In Kharkiv region, the enemy shelled Kharkiv and populated areas of the Kharkiv, Izyum, Kupyansk, and Chuhuiv districts.
