Two schools destroyed by Russian missiles in Zaporizhzhia region

Russian missiles have destroyed two schools in the Zaporizhzhia region’s Polohy district.

The relevant statement was made y Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Starukh on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the occupiers struck a school in the village of Vozdvyzhivka with two missiles. The educational institution was ruined almost completely. Another missile hit a local park. Destructions were also recorded in the neighboring detached houses,” Starukh wrote.

In addition, Russian missiles struck a school in the village of Dobropillia. No casualties were reported.

According to the data from the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, over the past day, Russian occupiers  have opened fire on civil infrastructure near such settlements as Zaporizhzhia, Charivne, Bilohiria, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Nove, Olhivske, Preobrazhenka, Pavlivka, Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Stepnohirsk, Poltavka, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka and Dorozhnianka. The police received 23 reports on the damage caused by Russian projectiles to civilian houses, apartments and infrastructure facilities.
