In Kherson region, invaders growing increasingly demoralized - regional council
That’s according to Serhii Khlan, deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, who reported this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform saw.
"The demoralization is growing among the occupiers, among those who remained part of the ruscists forces in the occupied territories, because they expected that with the arrival of newly mobilized soldiers, they would be sent home on rotation. This absolutely isn’t happening. So they lost hope that they will be returned to Russia, and the rookies who were deployed aren’t willing to fight at all, they do not understand what they are supposed to do there, and some of them never even held weapons in their hands. Therefore, now this spirit of discoordination is so powerful among them that the only way out for them is to surrender," Khlan said.
Also, the fact that the military leadership is evacuating the right bank toward the left bank of the Dnipro and no longer manages headquarters, instead trying to flee unnoticed under the civilian guise, adds to the destabilization among the occupiers, according to Khlan.
"Panic among the occupiers, both in the ranks and in the leadership," added the regional council deputy.
As reported, according to Operational Command South, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are pushing the enemy back to previously established positions in Kherson region. As of October 12, the Armed Forces liberated 75 settlements in Kherson region.
