Ukrainian defenders destroy 11 kamikaze drones in south

The south of Ukraine was again attacked by Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones on Sunday evening. Eleven of them were shot down.
"In the south of Ukraine, there was another attack by Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Our air defense units, particularly, the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Command ‘South’ and subordinate units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did an excellent job again," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
Within an hour – from 21:30 to 22:30 on October 16 – the Air Force members destroyed nine Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. The units of the National Guard and the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine downed one more Iranian drone each.
As reported, the Iranian authorities are preparing to hand over ballistic missiles to the Russian Federation which will probably be used in the war against Ukraine.
