Russians strike critical infrastructure in three regions - Shmyhal

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the Russians had launched missile strikes on critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.

The prime minister reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Currently, all services are working to eliminate the consequences of shelling and restore power supplies. Each region has an anti-crisis response plan. And we ask Ukrainians, in order to stabilize the energy system, to take a united and conscious approach to economical electricity consumption. Especially during peak hours," the message says.

Shmyhal recalled that on Monday morning, Russian terrorists once again attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in three regions.

In particular, five drone strikes were confirmed in Kyiv. Energy facilities and a residential building were damaged. The aggressor also launched missile attacks on critical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions. Hundreds of settlements were de-energized as a result of the strikes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, four enemy strikes were recorded in Kyiv as of 9:00 local time. A residential building was hit in Shevchenkivskyi district. A body of a female victim was recovered from under the rubble of the house, while another person is believed to remain there.
