Ukrainian troops destroy Grad MLRS, 3 ammo depots, 20 invaders in south

In the south, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine performed about 100 fire missions, destroyed 20 Russian invaders, a multiple-launch rocket system, and three ammunition depots.

"During the night, artillery and missile units of the Defense Forces were hitting ammunition depots, enemy positions, areas of manpower and equipment build-up. In total, about 100 fire missions were performed. Twenty enemy soldiers, a Grad MLRS, an armored vehicle, a 122mm towed howitzer, and three ammunition depots were eliminated," the Operational Command "South" posted on Facebook.

According to the Command data, the situation in Southern Buh direction is difficult but controlled by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that Ukrainian units continue to carry out active operations to liberate territories from Russian invaders and take stabilization measures in already liberated settlements.

In the meantime, the enemy is trying to hold the defense and fires on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in order to deter their offensive. In violation of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of war, the Russians continue to strike critical infrastructure and civilian houses. Attempts are underway to restore active movement across the Dnipro River.

The invaders continue to carry out aerial reconnaissance, collecting data on the position of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the location of important strategic objects, and adjusting fire damage.

During the night, the enemy shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, communities adjacent to the front line, and remote rear regions using rocket launchers, tube artillery, and mortars.

In particular, the Russians launched an airstrike with a pair of Mi-8 helicopters on the Ukrainian positions in Beryslav district of Kherson region at midnight. Ukrainian troops did not suffer losses.

Eight Russian ships and boats are maneuvering off the coast of Crimea. There are two large landing ships and two missile carriers with 15 Kalibr missiles on board among them.

"The enemy continues launching massive attacks with drones and missiles across the entire territory of Ukraine. Therefore, the threat of strikes remains stably high," the Operational Command "South" stressed.
