Ukraine’s defenders down 19 Shahed drones, cruise missile

Last evening, the enemy attacked Ukraine with more than two dozen Iranian kamikaze drones. Nineteen of them were destroyed by the Ukrainian military.

Such figures are provided by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The occupiers continue to attack Ukraine with Iranian-made kamikaze drones. From 22:00 to 24:00 on October 26, more than two dozen Shahed-136 drones were launched,” the report reads.

As noted, 17 drones were destroyed by the air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Two more Shahed-136 drones were downed by other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is specified that 15 drones were destroyed in Odesa region, three – in Mykolaiv region, and one – in Vinnytsia region.

"The weapons provided to Ukraine by Western partners proved their high effectiveness. We thank our allies!" the Ukrainian military emphasized.

In addition, the Air Force Command added that an anti-aircraft missile unit had destroyed Kh-59 guided air missile in the area of responsibility of the Air Command “East”.
