Armed Forces of Ukraine repel enemy attacks near seven settlements

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, October 27, posted on Facebook.

As noted, the enemy tries to hold the temporarily captured territories, focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, while continuing offensive operations in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

Over the past day, the units of the Defense Forces repelled the Russian attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Bakhmut, Ivanhrad, Soledar, Mayorsk, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka, Donetsk region.

The enemy shells the Ukrainian positions along the contact line, fortifies its positions in certain directions, particularly on the left bank of the Dnipro River, actively conducts aerial reconnaissance.

In violation of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war, the Russian occupiers continue to destroy critical infrastructure and civilian homes.

Over the past day, the enemy launched 18 airstrikes, four missile strikes, and 56 MLRS attacks.

The enemy attacked Kupyansk, Druzhkivka, and Zaporizhzhia.

The situation in Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly.

In Slobozhansky direction, mortars, tube and rocket artillery were fired from the territory of the Russian Federation on the areas of Chuhunivka, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Kamyanka, Krasne and Starytsia settlements.

In Kupyansk direction, tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery were fired in the areas of Berestove, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, and Fyholivka.

In Lyman direction, tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery were fired in the areas of Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Terny, Torske, Yampolivka, Spirne, Nevske, Verkhniokamyanske, and Zarichne.

In Bakhmut direction, tanks and rocket artillery were fired in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Mayorsk, New York, Yakovlivka, Zelenopillia, and Ozarianivka settlements.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage in the areas of Marinka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, and Novokalynove settlements.

In Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy fired artillery in the areas of Orikhiv, Vremivka, Dorozhnianka, Malynivka, Novoukrainka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Neskuchne, Olhivske, and Bilohirya.

In Southern Buh direction, areas of 20 settlements, not far from the contact line, came under fire. Nikopol was hit with rocket artillery.

Ukraine’s aviation launched five strikes over the past day, hitting the areas of enemy's manpower, weapons, and military equipment buildup, three strongholds, and an anti-aircraft missile system. The air defense units shot down an enemy Ka-52 helicopter, Kh-59 missile, and 17 enemy combat UAVs.

During the day, the missile and artillery troops struck four command posts, eight areas of manpower, weapons, and military equipment buildup, three ammunition depots, and six other important enemy military objects.
