Russian troops shelled Ukrainian border areas on October 27, using multiple launch rocket systems, mortars and artillery.
Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said this in a statement, Ukrinform reports.
The Khotin, Znob-Novhorodske, Nova Sloboda and Bilopillia communities of the Sumy region and the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Horodnia communities of the Chernihiv region all came under enemy fire.
Earlier reports said that Ukraine's Armed Forces killed about 69,700 Russian aggressors from February 24 to October 28, including 480 in the past day alone.
