Invaders want to automatically impose Russian citizenship on residents of Zaporizhia region

In the temporarily captured territories of Zaporizhia region, the Russian invaders mull automatic Russian citizenship for all local residents.
That’s according to Enerhodar Mayor Dmytro Orlov, who reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The lack of mass demand for Russian passports in the temporarily occupied regions, in particular in Enerhodar, no matter how widely the occupiers advertise them, led to the fact that they decided to impose Russian citizenship automatically on the residents of these territories," the posting reads.
It is noted that from October 30, the Russians will consider Enerhodar residents remaining in town citizens of the Russian Federation.
In order for anyone to renounce the automatically imposed "citizenship", a person will have to personally file an appeal with the Russian migration service.
