Russian invaders have withdrawn all their military equipment from the airfield in Chornobaivka, Kherson region.

The Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (StratCom) said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"This can be seen on satellite images for October 27," the report said.

At the same time, StratCom said that since the beginning of the capture of the Kherson region, even the constant destruction of Russian equipment by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at this airfield was not a reason for the invaders to leave their positions.

Ukraine's defense news site Defense Express said that the satellite images show only abandoned trenches where Russian forces were hiding their equipment at the airfield. The airfield itself was an important command post for the Russian grouping operating in the area, as well as for many formations and units.

"In the available images, the airfield looks completely abandoned. At the same time, the reasons for the withdrawal of the Russian army from Chornobaivka are quite obvious – it's just about 20 km away from the contact line, which makes it a front-line zone," the report said.
